Welcome to Neema Children's Home

How and Why we Exist

Since its humble beginnings in the year 2000, Neema Children’s Home has been a beacon of hope and compassion in our community. Founded by Pastor John and his wife Adah, both of whom experienced the trials of growing up as orphans, Neema Children’s Home was born out of a profound understanding and empathy for the plight of orphaned children.

The early 2000s witnessed a devastating rise in the number of orphans due to the rampant spread of HIV/AIDS. Deeply moved by the overwhelming needs of these vulnerable children, Pastor John and Adah opened their hearts and home, providing shelter, love, and care to those with nowhere else to turn. Relying solely on their faith and the grace of God, they prayed fervently for the means to build a dedicated home for these children.

The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something

FOUNDER

In 2009, their prayers were answered. Through the unwavering support of our community and the boundless blessings of God, Neema Children’s Home was established—a place where orphans could find safety, love and a sense of belonging. Since then, Neema has grown into a sanctuary where children are nurtured, educated and prepared for a brighter future.

However, we cannot do this alone. The success of Neema Children’s Home relies heavily on the generosity of sponsors, donors, and foster parents. Your support can make a profound difference in the lives of these children.

By contributing to Neema, you are not only providing essential resources but also giving these children the love and stability they so desperately need.

We invite you to join us in this life-changing mission. Whether through financial support, volunteer efforts, or fostering a child, your involvement can help us continue to provide a safe haven for orphans and pave the way for a brighter future.

Together, we can transform lives and build a community where every child feels valued and loved. Thank you for considering a partnership with Neema Children’s Home. Your kindness and generosity can light the path to a hopeful future for these precious children.
